䷆ This Monday is Memorial Day here in the US.

In the 8 years I’m in America, I’ve come to appreciate the deep rooted respect for army and army related services. Living in Washington DC and having visited Arlington multiple times, the weight Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day carry has not been lost on me. And especially the first-hand stories from colleagues and relations who lost an army buddy or multiple, made an impression, one difficult to grasp. “It’s complicated” is an understatement.

For those who have lost a buddy, a family member or friend: Make Monday special. 🫡 🇺🇸 And if you can, attend a memorial event.
