Orange juice prices more than double as Brazil harvest falters

In last Friday’s edition I left out the full report from Brazil, the final 2024-2025 crop report.
The 2024-2025 orange crop forecast for the São Paulo and West-Southwest Minas Gerais citrus belt published on May 10, 2024, by Fundecitrus in cooperation with Markestrat and full professors at FEARP/USP1 and FCAV/Unesp2, is 232.38 million boxes of 40.8 kg (90 lbs) each. The projected volume represents a significant drop of 24.36% as compared to the previous crop.
