Every now and then I come across articles from The Conversation, which are usually strong and clear (and I love their tagline: Academic rigor, journalistic flair). Also this time, although the topic has become a staple in our industry: “Plant disease could spell apocalypse for citrus fruits.”

And while the news around this may become a blindspot for some, it is important to stay on top of it, see every new achievement and discovery in research, and make sure our industry’s stakeholders (including the consumer) understand what’s going on. It’s an ongoing battle.
