Coca-Cola Europacific Partners said in a statement: “The recall is focused on Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, where the majority of affected products have been withdrawn from sale.
“Routine testing identified that certain products contained elevated levels of chlorate.
“Independent expert analysis concluded that the likelihood of any associated risk of feeling temporarily unwell from consuming these products is very low.”
Supporters of the tax say it has helped make the city healthier, and has generated over $480M in revenue that's been used for children's programs and activities. While opponents claim it's forced Philadelphians out of the city to buy their favorite taxed drinks and groceries.

Recent data indicates that the industry needs to adopt more collaborative and innovative transportation and distribution strategies to meet growing demand.
The report highlights several challenges in the system’s supply chain that are threatening the industry’s ability to scale up.

But it could still be many years before the citrus industry rebounds to a healthy level. "The disease is moving faster than the science can," said Michael Rogers at the University of Florida.

These findings suggest that CLJ may serve as a potential therapeutic agent for mitigating the effect of cadmium chloride in the healing of ulcerative colitis.
The NP-bioTech process was able to activate vigorous fermentation of citrus waste without any of the pre-treatments required by other available biowaste-treatment technologies. The horticultural use of the biostabilized output of such process for greenhouse crops was verified. The addition of such output to the growth media was beneficial for plants and did not show negative effects on quality and yield of tomatoes (Lycopersicon esculentum L.). The concentration of Ca, K, Zn, Fe, and polyphenol increased; the average number of berries per plant was improved; the concentration of Pb and Cd contaminants decreased.
