With only a few large-sized plants processing oranges, juice production slows down in Brazil

The majority of oranges from the 23/24 season have already been purchased, resulting in a low number of fruits available in the spot market for the upcoming 2023/24 season. Nevertheless, processors require a large quantity of oranges as their juice inventories are currently depleted.
