Tangential Microfiltration of Lime and Pineapple Juices using Inexpensive Tubular Ceramic Membrane and Analysis of Fouling Mechanism
The same fabricated inexpensive tubular ceramic membrane can be employed on an industrial scale by modifying the geometry to a multichannel tubular configuration to increase the permeate flux without losing the essential natural properties of the juices, such as pH, citric acid content, and total soluble solids and reduce the membrane fouling.
